About us

We are an Argentinian pharmaceutical laboratory dedicated to the developing and manufacturing of medicinal products, with over 25 years of experience in the market.

In each of our therapeutic lines -prescription medicine, over-the-counter products, dermocosmetics, and specialized treatments- we embrace our mission with the commitment of adding value to pharmaceutical recommendations, with products that ensure patients receive the highest quality and care.

Our production facilities span more than 3,000 m² across two modern plants. The Barracas Plant, located in the City of Buenos Aires, specializes in pharmaceutical cosmetics, medicinal creams, and diagnostic reagents. Meanwhile, the “Luis F. Leloir” Plant, situated in the Berazategui Industrial Park, is dedicated to the production of medicinal lozenges and syrups.

The entrepreneurial spirit and creativity of our more than 300 employees, who work every day to serve over 4,000 pharmacies and drugstores nationwide, are the driving force behind our organization. Thanks to their efforts, we have achieved sustained growth and expansion since Biosintex´s creation.

Through our network of more than 20 exclusive Pharmaceutical Promotion Agents (APFs), we ensure broad geographic coverage across Argentina, serving all sizes pharmacies: small, medium, and large.

With a product portfolio of over one hundred products, our brands protect the health and well-being of families: Bucoangin antibiotic lozenges for sore throat relief, Tavinex the most complete line of cough syrups, Vitacortil antifungal creams, Ibulgia ibuprofen in syrup and tablet form, Lacrigestina ophthalmic drops for treating dry eye syndrome, and the prescription-only active ingredient for treating Cystic Fibrosis: Pancreolipasa.

In addition, Biosintex offers a range of Pharmaceutical Cosmetics, featuring original in-house formulas that are clinically and dermatologically tested for daily care of sensitive skin: Vitamidermus, with a high content of vitamins and skin-barrier-strengthening active ingredients.
